Ocean Network - 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month

The Ocean Network runs twice monthly business meetings at The Belvedere Hotel at Woody Point.

Social Ocean business owner, Kirsty Fields is a co-founder of the business group which brings local business owners together to learn more about business, running a business and organises educational guest speakers to participate at sessions pertaining to this.

Ocean Network Meetup group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday morning of each month from 7:15am at The Belvedere Hotel, Woody Point.

From Surviving to Thriving conference

BETA’s CQ conference offers an opportunity for beginning and establishing teachers within Regional Queensland to have access to professional development. This conference held annually is conducted on one Saturday and includes keynote speakers and workshops. BETA's From Surviving to Thriving Conference will be held in Rockhampton on the 17th August 2019.

From Surviving to Thriving is an event you can't afford to miss! Workshops are also presented by experienced teachers offering practical strategies to be incorporated during practicum/internships and when on supply/contracts days.

Thinking On Your Feet conference

BETA’s Thinking on Your Feet conference focuses specifically on relief and contract teachers and offers professional development that will help develop your career.

Remembering Riley High Tea 2019

The 4th annual High Tea raises money for the Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence and The Mater Hospital’s affiliated parent support group - Seeds of Change.

The Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence, aims to reduce the rate of stillbirth and improve the care of parents and families who experience the death of their child.

Seeds of Change facilitates growth, learning and support for grief journeys of people that have experienced the death of a child/ children during pregnancy or early childhood.

Please join us at this wonderful charity High Tea event. An afternoon of sweet treats, wine, auctions, raffles and socialising to make a difference in the lives of bereaved parents and Stillbirth research.

Tickets sales to be announced. Prices are per person and include a sparkling wine on arrival.

Social Gathering for Ocean Network

November 28, 2019

The final Ocean Network gathering for 2019 will be held on Friday 29th November at The Belvedere Hotel, Woody Point.

 

This will be held as a Christmas party with secret santa, games and more. RSVP numbers are required for this event.
